For those reading about the band for the first time what do you think are the three most important moments in the band’s history so far?
First up starting the band second one have to be when we opened up for AC/DC in Gothenburg. There were about 56000 people in the arena.
Third one is the selftitled album. We did everything ourselves, produced, wrote and arranged all the songs and mixed it with a close friend of ours.
You’ve recently signed with Nuclear Blast which should help to raise your profile worldwide, how have things gone so far on your new label?
Shitloads of interviews! They keep us busy all the time. We feel at home for once in our life. They have helped us a great deal already.
Beg For It has gone gold already in Sweden… have you got your gold discs yet, and where will you hang them?
I will put mine in the bathroom because i spend alot of time in there.
This is the first studio album with guitarist Vic Zino who joined the band last year. We think there’s a bit more of an 80’s feel back to the album. Do you think Vic has influenced this album much?
He did. He told us when he joined that he did not want to change anything and especially not the songwriting but he had a lot of ideas that we loved. Now we have someone who´s ready to work and go that extra mile with us.
There’s also a whole lot of top class cowbell on the latest album. What are your favourite other bands that make good use of the cowbell?
Guns'n'Roses and Mötley! We used our old friend and tourmanager "BIFFEN" to do all cowbells. He hit it so hard that it was all bent out of
shape within minutes.
Many of Jocke’s lyrics are about some of the battles with his demons; which song is Jocke most proud of on the new album lyrically, and why?
Actually i wrote most of the lyrics on this album but I know he likes Remove My Brain. It´s about killing your girlfriend and removing her
brain so she won't open her mouth again.
Things are going pretty well right now and after twelve years of hard work, it seems to be finally and deservedly taking off. Were there times when you thought you’d never get there and felt like stopping?
We feel that all the time. We never took anything for granted and i think that keeps us down to earth and motivated.
When you do receive bad reviews or criticism, how do you deal with it?
We don't. We are our own worst enemies. There's no room for outsiders. We can be really hard on ourselves. We had to have a meeting
on the Mötley tour because the crictisms went over the top.
So what’s the best “constructive” criticism you’ve ever had?
We always tell ourselves that we SUCK! and we have to get better.

You’ll be back on the road in the Autumn touring extensively all around Europe on the Psycho Holiday Tour. Are you going to any countries that you’ve never been to before?
We'll go to Brasil and that's a first timer.
You’ve often taken a fellow Swedish band with you on tour in the past… have you got any support bands lined up yet for the Psycho Holiday Tour?
We're deep into it. We have a couple of options but it way to early to reveal.
Unfortunately you had your last UK tour supporting In Flames cancelled through no fault of yours. Are there any plans to reschedule that tour? Or to do your own shows in the UK on the back of your success at the Download festival?
Download is probably the coolest festival I've been to and our show was well received so we'll definitely come back. I'm guessing January.
How did you enjoy Download even though you only got to do six songs?
I had fuxxin´ goosebumps throughout the whole concert. If we played any more I'd probably cum in my pants.
So when you’re on tour what debauchery, bad behaviour and illegal fun do Hardcore Superstar like best?
Other bands keep saying in interviews that you can't drink when you're on tour, that it will wear you out etc. I say that's BULLSHIT!
What can i say, Boys will be Boys. The party starts at Five and ends in February.
And if you got up one morning on the tour bus and none of the others in the band had returned from the previous night out, where would they most likely be?
Probably at the hospital our in a mentalhouse. On our last tour in Rome I found one of the guys sleeping outside the bus only in his underwear, in the pouring rain... Haha!
MusicXtra was at the last Liseberg concert you played in Göteberg, and needs to know why on earth there are the 6ft green rabbits all about?!
Eyy? Never eat the swedish mushrooms!!
